Study Design

10 participants aged between 21 and 26 who:

_have never or rarely used a dance pad before.

_play casual computer games no more than 30 minutes a week.

_have never tried this game before.

Each participant did both easy and hard levels using each of the two input devices keyboard and dance pad (independent variable).

Each level lasts for 4 minutes.

The dependent variable here is the score.

At the end of their session, each participant was asked some questions (most of them asked to rate the game).

The main hypothesis tested in this study is:

Users score using the dance pad is at least as good as their score using the keyboard for a casual game they haven't tried before.
